The downloadable (binary) packages for SPIN are *just* starting to be published (Jan 2012). If you find aspects of these packages that do not work, please contact us.


OSX

spinframework-0.3.8.dmg (84MB, OSX 10.6+, Universal 32/64 bit)
spinframework-0.3.7.dmg (75MB, OSX 10.6+, 64 bit only)
spinframework-0.3.6.dmg (97MB, OSX 10.6+, 64 bit only)

(Note: these packages do NOT include the ffmpeg library. If you want video texture support, you need to install ffmpeg via Macports)

Linux

To get the most recent package for Ubuntu, add the following PPA to your system:
https://launchpad.net/~sat-metalab/+archive/metalab

NOTE: This package is currently out of date! Please check back soon.

Then install the package:
    $ sudo apt-get install spinframework
